The Smile Centre supports our local community in all sorts of ways, from engaging with local schools, to supporting local fundraising events and donating funds to local causes wherever we can.

The team is very proud to announce the launch of our new ‘Local Giving’ and ‘Individual Giving’ schemes, which will support people and projects carrying out worthwhile causes in Caradon and the surrounding area. To be eligible, all you have to do is demonstrate that your project is health related, and is good value for money.

The Smile Centre is donating £5,000 per year to local community projects, and is open for applications now!

There will be four rounds per year, running from 1st April – 30th June, 1st July – 30th September, 1st October – 31st December, and 1st January – 31st March.

If you are part of a local community group or charity and are looking for funds to support a project, please do get in touch and ask to speak to Kerry Newton-Marsh, our Community Partnerships Manager, on 01579 342348. Kerry will be very happy to have an informal chat about the scheme, check you are eligible to apply, and offer any support with the application process that might be required.

The Smile Centre is donating a further £500 for individuals fundraising for local causes. So, if you’re planning to jump off a bridge or climb a tall building all in the name of charity, do give Nell a call and discuss how we can help. We will donate up to £100 per applicant under this scheme.
